We left an 18 year-old college student in charge and wrote down where all our important papers were and where he should throw them in case of fire. He was so good, we recommended him to many friends, after which he fled to Hawaii and never returned. It's relaxing.

This time I was reminded of the time years ago when our policeman neighbour and his wife went on an overnight trip leaving their teenage son in charge of the house. He invited a few friends over. They invited more. Before too many hours had gone by there was a free for all party taking place that only ended when the police arrived. When his parents came home the kid was made to pick up all the detritus from the neighbouring yards and to apologize to everyone in the area who had been affected. I assume he was much more trustworthy after that.

I'm quite sure having read about your young friend Cameron that you have nothing to worry about.susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16747450215034568033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20303812.post-40980933839740316662018-02-02T03:45:56.388+00:002018-02-02T03:45:56.388+00:00He will probably be extra careful with the weight ...He will probably be extra careful with the weight of responsibility on his young shoulders ..
