Watched a animated cartoon over Christmas about a dragon called toothless and a little Viking boy. The dragon was the spit image of mofo needless to say the dragon did have teeth:-)Captain Shagrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05626375707585639323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20303812.post-22076778544684091922014-01-04T01:39:14.569+00:002014-01-04T01:39:14.569+00:00Hehe. Nice to see the two of them sharing the bed after having reconciled their differences. While dogs are long domesticated, cats are still considered wild animals & once in a while they like to remind us of it. Albert is the underdog (tee hee.
ironic isn't it) in a cottage full of canines & having doing pretty well holding his own with 4 dogs to cohabitate with, Don't blame him a bit for dealing a warning whap to Winnies' cheek. A chicken carcass is worth defending from invaders. Considering the damage those claws can do, Albert was delicate in delivering his communication of "Bugger off Winnie" and " Go back to bed, the chicken is all mine".Ellen in Oregonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03484004145095198712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20303812.post-72873282135993468472014-01-03T22:53:45.852+00:002014-01-03T22:53:45.852+00:00I think I will name my next cat Grace

She would not dream of doing anything like that! I have purchased human grade canned cat food for her by the case and she either sticks her nose in the air and walks off or starts trying to cover it up like it's the vilest thing she's ever smelled! All she wants is her high end kibble. Though she did surprise me New Years day and ate some Spot's stew, but I had set it on the heater vent and it was warm. I never give up trying to get her to eat wet food and what she refuses I donate to a shelter. I've tried everything. Home cooked liver, chicken, turkey, and seafood is snubbed. Years ago I had a trio of cats that would raid the trash can anytime they could, especially if there was a fried chicken bone in it.

I must say all my cats through the years have been good. They never jumped on the cabinets, tables, or anything. I did have one Siamese named Lucy that loved to sit on top of the refrigerator and rule her world. I loved Lucy so much she could pretty much do whatever she wanted.

I am particular about what I give Gracie because the cat food industry has gone to crap. With so much imported ingredients from China and with numerous problems with pet food products that have come into the country that has killed many pets (possibly one of mine included), I am very watchful of what I buy and give her.

Anyway, Cats Rule! They are always one step ahead of you!!Galestormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09561727439124466050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20303812.post-69405905946999541012014-01-03T22:24:51.072+00:002014-01-03T22:24:51.072+00:00When I was a kid we had a Great Dane called Zac. ...When I was a kid we had a Great Dane called Zac. One Sunday mum cooked a roast lamb leg. She put it in the centre of the table for Dad to carve. When she went to call us for dinner Zac walked up to the table, leant his head over the plates and grabbed the leg of lamb and headed out the door! The air was blue!
Must say Wini is looking very pleased with herself for some reason in the last picture....Albert beware!!

Jo in Auckland, NZJOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01654932887735045108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20303812.post-38310163425006615522014-01-03T21:31:04.513+00:002014-01-03T21:31:04.513+00:00Thanks for the night thiught Jo xThanks for the night thiught Jo xJohn Going Gentlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14958171262765033946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20303812.post-90938534207559236232014-01-03T21:29:50.753+00:002014-01-03T21:29:50.753+00:00Thanks babs

This comfortably past-middle-age woman checks your blog first every day; sometimes twice if I think I visited too early. My reactions range from a good belly laugh to tears. I so enjoy following you around your world as you comment on the goings-on. Your language is super, your sense of humor is wonderful, and your observations are quite sharp and insightful. I thank you every day for sharing your life.BarbaraBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16422479833216333690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20303812.post-13346679901099159092014-01-03T20:50:18.050+00:002014-01-03T20:50:18.050+00:00We used to have a tiny cat named F.
