After the first rain or two of the year, I sit on a patio chair, close my eyes and breathe in the earth scent of thirsty soil. When I want to stay in pajamas and drink my hot tea, my Still Place is the big chair that sits by the big window with the sun shining in (or not), legs wrapped under me, surrounded by my books.
