Keep smiling John, the sun is out, Spring has sprung, kick back with a coffee. I have just reckoned up my extra essential expenses for the next three months and it is approximately £2k yikes!! So taking my own advice, off to make coffee and sit out in the garden to chill. Jan in Castle Gresley
Bother! Hope the fix is easy, quick, and cheap. We just found out this week that the air conditioners at our home and next door (where our younger son lives) must be replaced and that is a huge chunk of change. Yikes!
Every car owner will sympathise and empathise. And ask the same question: why do things like this only happen at weekends? And when the sun comes out? And when you really don't have the time for all the hassle. If only I was close enough to offer a lift!
Hope its an easy fix. Our Mini is in the garage as the airbag warning light wouldn't go off. Whatever part is required, there's a 4 week wait. Thank God we've got another car. Xx
Vehicles. It's always something! (But most of the time, not, thank goodness.) Maybe you will go in a new direction, John, and buy yourself a motorcycle instead! The savings in gas along -- and how sexy you'd look in your leathers. -Kate
One of our dogs need 8000 dollars worth of surgery. People will think us mad to fork out but what price can you put on the ten years worth of joy we have had with her. It will come out of savings (earmarked for a car) and we will have to make do.
Too right! just add in boiler repairs for extra expense.
ReplyDeleteIt's good they can fix it.

Cars! We can't live without them, and they do break down without notice. Hopefully you have a good repair guy, and the cost is not astronomical.
ReplyDeleteReality can really suck, can’t it?
