Leo was delayed in Crewe, so I picked him up in Chester. We started the day with pizza at Chester Market then a horror film Final Destination BloodLines which showed more unique ways to kill the average Joe than could be imagined by your usual serial killer.
We did some serious dog lurve , ate sausage and chips on the beach and visited my sisters before going to see Thunderbolts which was, surprisingly entertaining for a superhero movie
After the film we had a hour and a half discussion about the best of Bond Girls before bed
I’m totally fucked
Sounds like a good time was had by all, Mary and Roger included! I suppose Weaver and Bun are keeping their distance for tonight. Love the pictures are save you 1000 words each!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful tomorrow, too. Hope Leo can stay for a few days or more.
Hugs!
Those photos of Leo with the dogs are fantastic. You and Leo are fortunate to have each other.
ReplyDeleteThe world needs to treat everyone equally , no one is special, we are all special, no one is best ,we are all best, no one is better or worse than anyone else.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget we are all special we go through the same things no matter what they are we just all have to deal with them in our own way, it is hard on everyone' be they gay straight bi black white or lemon yellow. We are all the maker's children and he sees all of us as special.
That is how we should look through our eyes, as Leo does, no one is different than another we are all special! Gemma's Person
Clearly, the dogs were delighted to see Leo too! And yes, I'm sure the emotional issues at play in Thunderbolts* would have resonated with your therapist self!
ReplyDeleteLeo is getting big...not so much a kid anymore. Sounds like a fun day.
ReplyDeleteyes hes the perfect age isnt he?
DeleteGod will get you for that. I promise. I know him personally. Beth
DeleteSo many disparate images, that you so quickly tied together in a short amount of time.
ReplyDeleteWell done Uncle John!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! And the dogs look very happy to see Leo. Xx
ReplyDeleteA grand day out! xx
ReplyDeleteA great day for all of you, even the dogs, who look so happy!
ReplyDeleteTotally fucked maybe, but you wouldn't change a second of it! xx
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful to me. And that photo of Leo and the pups says it all. Love!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of Leo and the dogs.
ReplyDeleteFear not! Anyone would be totally fucked after such an amazing day! And those photos of Leo with the Welsh are just lovely, totally heart melting. Thank goodness you reached out for your phone and grabbed those pictures of all three of them being so ridiculously lovable together. As if you didn't already know - dogs are the very best judges at reacting to the very best people. What a delightful visit you are all enjoying. Love it! Moremoremore.....
ReplyDeleteSuch fun! No wonder you're tired.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful and long day, John, I would have been completely trashed as well. Love the pics of Leo with the doggos - you can see the love they have for each other. Just precious. You're making happy memories, as my Mom would say!
ReplyDeleteThe doggies love Leo as much as you do, great photo. Gigi
ReplyDeleteA good day out for all involved.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like much fun was had by all, it's tiring but fun to do every now and then. 😀
ReplyDeleteLovely to see Leo, but I thought you were supposed to be resting?
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd had an uncle like you.
ReplyDeleteI really don't think you would mrs moon
DeleteI think she said she would
DeleteLeo and John are lucky to have each other. I'm glad you two had a good day, with lots of dog love (the best kind of love).
ReplyDeletewell there are a few of us in the village that think it is all not very apropriate
DeletePull the other leg it’s got bells on , Jane
DeleteInappropriate to be visited by a nephew? Please explain I don’t understand
DeleteOh my goodness .. so your Anonymous commenter is someone in the village. How horrible. Pity they couldn’t say their peace to your face. CeeCee
DeleteThey dont live in the village
DeleteWell, we really know just how depraved Anonymous' mind is now don't we. The lowest of the low and most definitely NOT a villager.
DeleteLee here, and if I saw you anon , I would whip your sorry ass. You cunt!
DeleteAs I said above , they are also God's child and he is known to keep his chosen ones in safe keeping and then you know what happens to the offender to a chosen one???
DeleteWell, let's just say he does his best work in these situations to keep them in line.
John, you are safe , forever more, I have a feeling you are one of God's chosen. love you my dearest brother. Gemma's Person
Spookily, your final remark is what the Bond girls said after 007 had paid them a visit. I am glad to see that Leo has cast off his papal garments for the holy visit to Trelawnyd.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great day!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...that's a good question, about the Bond Girls. What was the consensus?
ReplyDeleteLeo liked Licence To Kill’s Pam Bouvier
DeleteHey thanks for the movie reviews... I'm on the fence about going to see either one... Hubby and i are on SuperHero overload... Always did enjoy the Final destinations... i always find them the best when they stick to whats believeable... somehow thats scarier... Sometimes they get a little out there.. I think its so great that you spend time with your nephew.. those family ties are so important.. Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful day for all! Love the photos of Leo and the Welsh. How did Bun & Weaver respond to Leo?
ReplyDeleteCarefully
Deleteand as if by magic.... i flicked over the tv just to see ursula undress emerging from the sea in her trademark white bikini...... swit swoo!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures say it all. Aunts and uncles can be so important in a young person's life - which you clearly are.
ReplyDeleteBeing a cat person I couldn't be totally sure, but those pictures sure seem like those dogs love that young man and vise versa. Dogs appear to know their people! I'm not surprised you are pooped, you pack so much in the tin! Leo looks so grown up in this picture I can't believe the little cowboy is the same child. Glad you're having a fantastic visit together, and may you have many more.
