I had watched Coronation Street from day one but stopped watching about a year ago. It was getting so stupid with bodies under garage floors etc. that I couldn't be bothered with it any more. I have to confess I do check on the updates on the internet every once in a while but I find I don't now half the characters any more. Back in the 60's when we lived in Manchester my dad was a policeman and the coronation street set and granada studios was part of his beat.
