"I'll admit I may have seen better days,
but I'm still not to be had for the price of a cocktail,

Sorry John, Spain and its magic have that effect. And that place! I will be unhappy for you for five minutes in honor of internet friendship. That is where you two and the cildren should move when you are ready. I often think that maybe I should go back to Salamanca to revisit my youth at the University and then I get depressed when I think that I too would have to leave.
Not long until your retirement and then you can have all the holiday's you want! :)
John you are surely retired now!.You have had your 55 birthday!. So grab NHS pension and run before rules change!xxYour twin sister had a birthday so you have too😀😂
But all your four legged friends are so happy your back !cheers, parsnip and thehamish
I am still here.x
Did Albert leave you his traditional "they've left me for holidays" dead animal?Welcome home John. You'll be all right in a couple of days.
Sorry you are not happy. I am unhappy today also but this to shall pass. Take care...hugs, milli
I wanted to stay longer x
AWWWW ! Sweet!
Honestly you have made the best decision to retire, you can live vey cheaply, and above all the luxury of time is immeasurable
Oh John. We all miss you and Chris. The fire eater in the prom has asked after you. The lamb chops were particularly goodnight. If it makes you feel better I am packed ready for home tomorrow. Still paella for lunch and maybe a spot of sangria. Shall we do lunch next week? xxx
Only if we can have aoli!
Oh SNAP OUT OF IT! Did that help?
Returning home is always such sweet sorrow. I am back from four days in Rhode Island, home for a few days.
Back to reality, and Trelawnyd. Keep smiling.
Try to keep saying "Tomorrow is another day" - without groaning.
I have been in the uk for a month for my daughters wedding , I want to go home now away from all the people and traffic . Anyway you had a lovely holiday you can look back on x
Oh, dear - post-holiday-let-down.... this too shall pass.... have a cuddle with the dogs, they will have been so pleased to see you, that'll cheer you up.
Dogs would have been delighted to see you. I bet a pound to a penny that by tomorrow you are full of the news in Trelawnyd - things are bound to have happened while you have been away.
I'm sure you will return John. I love going away especially to Spain where we lived & worked for several years but I always love coming home. You could both retire there & adopt all the stray cats & dogs & become eccentric ex pats tho not so sure how this will stand post Brexit.
Nice to see you have shaved your beard off and had a facial. They have also done something nice with your hair. You look years younger but if I might say a tad girlish. Do the animals recognise you any more?
Oh, so sorry. But "Tomorrow is anothah day."
No matter where you are , if you are working or on holiday, I think you should blog. I go straight to this blog in the morning with my first cup of coffee ... what am I supposed to do if you quit ?? send me a prescription .. now ... I am already anxious from just thinking about it.
