Thank You

......thank you Eirlys
The gift of a dozen of your free range eggs ( all be them from a huge barn) was a lovely gesture today.
I gave you a hug which threw you slightly!
But it made my day
I miss my hens

  7. I wondered how your hens were doing. I had a look at the news on avian flu in Europe and it looked quite serious. Then your comment to anne marie ... I'm sorry things aren't going well.

  10. Who is looking after your hens & do you see them ?
Beware of bear hugs... a dear elderly customer at the green grocers told me the owner's husband who works there on Saturdays gave her such a hug he cracked one of her ribs. She's like a little bird herself & very delicate.

  14. Aren't your girls laying and if they are couldn't you go up and collect the eggs? Ours are back to laying again with the longer days, even though they are getting a bit p*ssed off with still being under cover.

  15. Got a feeling our hens will be enclosed for much longer than the end of February restrictions. Mine are missing being able to destroy the garden!

  16. So nice. Hugs are so cultural... and living in Southern Spain after living around the USA has made me very confused. Here, we hug. I've gotten so used to it that I hug there, too. It doesn't always go over the same!
