Reality

Sometimes, just sometimes I would love to wake up in the morning feeling like
Like this!

This morning after two days of no sleep due to the heat, one night shift ofertime last night
And a morning of housework
I actually look like this

Who else feels as though they look like a bulldog chewing a wasp?

  1. In your sentence at top should the word 'like' be there?

  2. Me, I just have that sort of face I'm afraid, a bitchy resting face. That and the fact that I am a bad tempered bitch.

  4. I might look like that to my cats.
But to me, I look like the sweet little white haired lady here- is that Aunt Glad ? I am growing older, I hope it is in style.

  5. Ben Cohen....the rugby hunk in the top pic....once came and sat on the exercise bike next to mine at the gym when he played for Northampton Saints. He smiled and said Hello...he'd just come in and looked fresh and fabulous. I on the other hand had been there training hard for an hour and was sweaty, dripping, red-faced and too puffed out to say a word. Sigh.

  11. Why would you want to wake up looking like a brown leather rugby ball? Chris would kick you out of bed and get three points.

  16. I guess this is no time to hear me complain about having to get the blankets on the bed last night because the cats and I were huddled together freezing ( the a/c was on too high or low ...too cold)

  17. Me, me, me . . . . I don't like that 2nd photo but I must look like it, because people are always telling me, "Cheer up! It might never happen." Which immediately bursts my happy little bubble and makes me feel sad and upset.

  19. Aaaaah, Ben Cohen was my crush back in the day. Gone off him a bit lately with all his shenanigans! Not that I suppose he would be interested in me anyway - you know, someone who could snore for Britain AND wake up looking like Phylis Diller on a bad day. Anna
