I'm In Trouble

I fell asleep at the kitchen table this morning with my head resting on that flamingo and woke up over an hour later with an orange shaped pressure sore on my forehead which was colour pink. The prof likes this fruit cover, he says it stops Albert farting on the oranges.I was woken by Mandy my neighbour, who wanted to know if the chickens would eat an old christmas pudding.

  1. this one is a good one: http://www.hellmanns.com/recipes/detail/35904/1/chocolate-mayonnaise-cake

All purpose flour, is plain flour & baking soda is bicarb. Makes a really moist cake.

  2. Fail safe chocolate cake:

    6 oz butter, softened
    6 oz sugar
    3 eggs beaten
    6 oz self raising flour
    2 good tbsp. cocoa

Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs gradually. Add in the flour, cocoa and combine well. Turn into tow prepared sandwich tins, or one loaf tina nd bake in a fast oven until well risen and cooked through - about 20 mins for the sandwich cake, little longer for the loaf (depends on your oven).

Sandwich together with mascarpone cheese, cocoa and icing sugar beaten up together.

  8. Okay .. I see other people have put the recipe right on here so here it goes... :)

    Black Magick Cake

    2 cups sugar
    2 cups flour
    3/4 cup cocoa powder
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs
    1 cup black coffee
    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup oil
    1/2teaspoon vanilla

Its not a very thick batter so don't be alarmed if its a little soupy looking to you .. it will bake fine and it has never failed me... You don't taste the coffee when its done... I use a marshmallow frosting on top.
    oven 350 degrees F 30-35 min...Absolutley magic!!

  11. Cakes from scratch are my specialty, I wish I was there to bake one or two for you -- My very best recipe for chocolate cake has coke in it, and the best chocolate cake I've found is on the back of the Hershey Box, "Perfect Chocolately Cake" --And the key to a great chocolate cake is a good frosting! We're all cheering you on John!

  13. Oh my goodness I have a fruit cover just like that except it has raffia daisies instead of flamingoes. Got it from my favourite local op shop. Silly me thought it was for keeping flies off food.
