Big Titted Tomatoes & Other Stories

32 degrees here in Wales !
Early this afternoon I went over to the Ukrainian village with extra water feeders. As I filled  the lurid purple paddling pool for the geese, I was suddenly confronted by three small white bantams who tip-toed out of the long grass from the direction of the graveyard, to drink
All three are very young. Well cared for and tiny and it was with some difficulty that I managed to corral them in Rooster Cogburn's old run.
I have no idea where all three have come from.

Irene and Sylvia are feeling the heat today and Have spent most of their time lying in the shade. I managed to grab Irene after offering her a tomato ( she goes wild over a juicy tomato! ) and I managed to relieve her of some wool by hand stripping her front quarters. Unfortunately Soay sheep are terribly temperamental and wild so I only managed a few handfuls before she was off like shit off a shovel.
Irene and Sylvia

And finally , thanks to Joyce for her big titted creation
( we need ten more please to beat last year's entries)

  2. Those poor girls! No way to sneak up on them I suppose and relieve them of their woolen coats. I hope you locate the owner of the chickens, I know I would be worried if mine had taken off.

    Try to stay cool!

  7. I would guess that the bantams are boys that the original owner didn't know what to do with.

  10. Is Joyce's entry a self-portrait? I bet she gets a few funny looks when she walks down the street.

  13. Joyce's 'Big tits' looks as if she's about to give birth. One entry concealing an other?

  15. To hot to do anything at the moment, other than replenish drinkers and water plants. I guess that's the downside to sheep that shed their fleece bit by bit, they don't get the relief of being shorn for the hottest part of the year.

Lovely little Bantams, do you think they are escapees or dumpees?

  17. I think this veg entry is the winner! It feels very Hawaiian to me.

I hope no one has dumped those birds

If I were to keep sheep (too much work for me), I would also keep Soay, real hardy, dont need shearing, look cool! lol

  18. Love the modesty leaf on Joyce's entry! I do feel for our sheep during this heat. I have kiddie pools about for the sheep and llama to soak their toes.
