  13. Heavy and gray in Washington, DC, but we did have a ray or two this morning, and at least it's no longer unseasonably cold. I can think of a great many things worse than a bask in the sun, and even without that I plan to spend some of this afternoon on the balcony, soaking in, if not sunshine, at least some fresh air.
