Fruit, Herbs and Woodwork

This beautiful eagle is now mine,
A gift from the man who made it
Colin and Yola Endres have lived in the village all of their lives
And are due to move very soon to Manchester to be near their daughter.
Both are in frail health , so I went around to their house to pick flowers from their garden in order to enter the show for a last time. Colin gave me this sculpture as a gift and I entered it into the show under his name
Of course it won a prize!

  8. That was so thoughtful to do and how wonderful that he won a prize before leaving the village. It is sad that they are leaving, but good that they have a daughter to look after them.

  9. You have a big heart, oh, that the entire world could show such kindness.

What a thoughtful and wonderful gift and good of you to enter it "secretly". I'm sure they were very pleased.
