Man/Woman Crush

I know Im a sad fucker but I do enjoy the cleverness of tv adverts. Adverts that can sell a 30 second story. Tick an aspiring lifestyle choice and sell a mobile app all in one go!
Genius and clever manipulation.
I have a big man crush in the bloke from the beef stew advert......
If I was playing his character
There would be gravy down my apron
( the apron wouldnt have fitted so snugly)
And I would be alone in the kitchen watched only by a salivating bulldog
Who is your tv crush?
Come on! Own up,!
The Cadbury man

  14. I rarely watch commercial channels as I want to get my money's worth from the BBC. If news woman Emily Maitliss asked me for an interview in her bedroom, I would probably agree. Kate Silverton's attractive too and I used to like Ulrika Jonsson but she's gone scraggy like an old turkey. In fact next time someone drops off a scraggy old bird for you to care for you should think about calling her Ulrika!

    4. Richard Armitage has recorded some talking books, that dark brown velvety voice seductively reading Georgette Heyer romances, it's a rare treat. And Jason Isaacs in the long blond wig he wore as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films makes my old lady heart flutter.

  35. I rarely watch "regular" television anymore, as the adverts where I live will drive you mad with their levels of obnoxiousness and simple mindedness .. if those are real words.
I have to say, I really appreciate that you did not post those photos from the news of more people being slaughtered by ISIS ... there needs to be a place where we can go and not see that kind of horror .

  44. I once worked in a homeless shelter in Swindon. Whenever Trevor McDonald read the news, one of our clients would wake up from his alcohol induced stupor and started screaming at the telly: There's no blacks in Valhalla!

  53. I understand the attraction for Patrick Grant in the Sewing Bee, but can I confess that last week I dreamed about the Major who is such a wonderful sewer. I also love the idea he designed his driver's wedding dress whilst travelling around a combat zone and then made it for her. I also have to admit to crushes on the late Pete Duel and William Gaunt (I was 14 at the time), Christopher Ecclestone as Dr Who and Mark Harmon, as long as he's not talking about football.

  54. Philip Glenister in just about anything but most of all as the fabulous Gene Hunt. How I can find such an offensive, politically-incorrect, uncouth character attractive I have no idea, but I do. Also, and this is going back a few years and on a totally different note, the wonderful Robin Ellis as Ross Poldark - phwoar (and he's still incredibly attractive all these years later). And, judging by his blog, an incredibly nice person too. Don't think I'll be able to face the remake of Poldark even though the new one looks suitably dark and brooding as in my mind Robin Ellis is the only Captain Ross Poldark..
