Great Uncle Richie

I was thrilled this evening when my sister in law found this photo of my great uncle Richie
I remember instinctively " liking" the man in the photo as a child
And now we are exploring the family tree,
, we have refound him so to speak.

Bloggers have disappeared from the face of the earth when they caught the family tree bug. Good for you that someone else is doing the hard yards.

  2. I love his wavy hair; very handsome. That shirt makes him look like an explorer of exotic lands. Do you think he'd have been good at shooting zombies?

  4. I think he is very, very handsome. And I, too, would instinctively like him, I believe. His eyes are quite kind. His lips are generous.

So you think you know the answers, oh no
Well the whole world has got you dancing
    That's right, I'm telling you
It's time to start believing, oh yes
Believing who you are, you are a shining star

    Now THAT is poetry! (NOT)

  15. Family trees are great things. Hubby found someone from the Revolutionary war in his.
Of course he already knows his lineage can be traced back to France. That part is neat, too.
    Enjoy your weekend, John.

I can imagine him tramping round the chicken field .... but in jodhpurs and leather boots, with the pack of dogs following neatly behind ;-)
