"I'll admit I may have seen better days,
but I'm still not to be had for the price of a cocktail,
like a salted
Does the 'Grey' on your cup refer to your name or the colour of your beards?
I was wondering that too.
Here I was thinking it was Earl Grey tea ...
No...more bad service .... It took an age to get a cup as one brain dead goth on the till couldn't get her arse into gear
I thought Earl Grey too, or your name misspelt.
Love the 'selfie' pic. The last time we went to Chester (about 3 or 4 years ago, we walked right around the wall. It was great.
You are in fact, identical twins and I claim my five pounds....
No we are not....I have a twin sister all of my own
John,How much coffee have you two drank today?Nice picture of the two of you......you do look like you're up to no good though :PHave a beautiful Sunday.
That's Chris' happy face
You make a cute 'n quirky couple.
I think so
Do you use product in your hair?
I actually laughed out loud to this reply. You saucy man.
You would have loved all the shopping!
As u may know I HATE shopping, but it was Christmas shopping so I coped with it!
Who spelt your name wrong?
The goth with a felt pen
I think it is in the staff handbook for Starbucks, spelling people's names incorrectly. :)
I day of shopping...sounds like fun.
You know... with a severe trim to the wings of Chris's moustache and removal of his specs... the two of you could pass as twins in that shot (or at the very least brothers). Rather similar indeed (in topographical terms)
Oh... I see Wanda agrees (I should perhaps read previous comments before adding my unoriginal tuppenceworth)
Back to normal.
Thank fuck for that rachel
Yes, and I note you can't sleep tonight.x
the future mr & mr gray!
Hmm.. Will it be Mr & Mr Gray though? Or perhaps a double-barelled Mr & Mr Gray-Whatever? Or still Mr Gray and Mr Whatever (athough I do appreciate that the other handsome chap's surname is probably not Whatever). Although "The Gray-Whatevers" would look good on a letterbox. But, more to the point, why not "John" on the cup? How formal. I've never thought of giving my surname. I so often learn new things on this blog (especially about bulldog maintenance)
Mr and Mr Burton- GrayI didn't know the goth well enough to say johnI said Mr Gray
I love the moniker to be.... very stylish!!Jo in Auckland, NZ
A handsome couple!
Three observations:1 No woolly hat? Whatever next?2 Did you answer 'Mr. Gray to you', when the coffee person asked your name? 3 You even share ginger mustaches.
Mine is ginger Chris' is more brown
How the hell did Chris get you to endure a day's shopping?!Jane x
Good man!Jane x
Chris's moustache would mean something in Turkey - especially using semaphore.
It would mean " touch my daughter and a breaka your legs"
I do love going out for lunch -- I hope you bought something better than a mis-spelled coffee cup!
Xmas gifts for mother in lawSister in lawBrother in lawAnd a cushion with a chicken on it for us
it's nice being love, the cushion shows that.
That is a truly magnificent moustache on the right!
Very James Robinson Justice
They say couples grow to look like each other. You both look great!Have a wonderful week. ♥
So coffee at Starbucks....and for lunch?
Bad service at an Italian The food was nice though
Oh what a lovely day...I'm glad I spent it with you:-)
What is it with 'Selfies'.....anyway, you two are a nice looking couple. And I don't think you've ever seen "Two Lane Blacktop".
Oh man of little faithI did a film degree... We covered all 1970 road movies
My apologies, I am in your debt. I was hasty, and misjudging. Not that I'll be anything else in the future, but for now I was incorrect, quite sorry.
I can tell you both are just giddy from having so much fun.Cute pic.
love it :)
I sometimes think I know yourself and Chris from TV ....you seem perfect TV presenters or characters from a fly on the wall documentary ......
I was almost convinced until the bit about Arthur sleeping in the loose motions. No self respecting cat would do that no matter how close to his canine house mates he was lol
sorry John, I've gone and commented on the wrong posting but you know what I mean x
You are both soooo -- je ne sais quoi!
Love it, especially the mis-spelt coffee cup. We always say SUE when they ask, then when they shout out "Americano for Sue" Lovely Hubby feels like that cowboy in the song as he reaches for it ;-)
Never been to Chester but from all accords it's a lovely place.
My you do look like you are having fun in that photo! Perhaps it's because the barista mis-spelt your surname. Or were you drinking grey coffee? Prefer light brown myself.
What a great photo! Chris is so expressive ... without changing his expression.
Chris really does have the most marvelous moustache.
And a brisk walk round the walls and round the zoo to walk off all the over-eating?
Handsome couple, nothing quite like a day out
Loved Chester when we visited there....great photo of you both!
Hello to you both! I haven't been to Chester yet -- it's on our list.
So bad service at both Starbucks and the Italian restaurant. You guys aren't hard to please now, are you?
Such a dapper couple. Can't wait for the wedding photos.
Is that What Fun! or What Fun?
What a FAB photo!
Love the picture!
What a great picture!Jo in Auckland, NZ
