Commonwealth

As I could make out ,the only thing the organisers of the Commonwealth Games didn't throw into
it's opening ceremony was porridge
Everything was there
Rod Stuart, The Loch Ness Monster, charity donations,
Susan Boyle , men with kilts and Lulu
But for me
The real stars were the dozens of scotties
Leading out the athletes
With their fast little legs and proud fierce looking faces

  3. I have not seen any of it, as I didn't think I could bear it, grumpy cynical Scotsman that I am, but I may try to catch a video of the doggies

  4. The dogs would definitely be the best part. If I have The Janie Junebug Games, collies will take the lead.

    Love,

Sweet little dogs but George is far more handsome than any of them. If he was watching he's going to want one of those coats.

  9. Who cares about the Loch Ness monster when they have Scotties in the house. And Susan Boyle, well, she is so yesterday and I bet she is glad she is.

  12. We had a giggle at the few wee Scotties that were carried around - do you think they got stage fright? Or maybe just tired? I've lived in Scotland for 38 years of my life and hardly ever see a Scottie. I wonder where they all came from? Lovely touch to the ceremony.
