Out To Lunch

We are off to a posh lunch with one of Chris' Professor colleagues today.
I will have to pass muster before we leave.
No crocs or Walking Dead T shirts will be tolerated or allowed today
That's for sure!

I told affable despot Jason all this when I bumped into him on chapel street when out with the dogs this morning
and he quipped
" I've heard they've bussed in Gok Wan for the makeover"
I laughed
as he added under his breath
" he's got a big job on his hands"

  2. Every once in a while we have to make an effort and clean up. It's only one day.

  3. Ok, nice work. I snorted, and then again at two pigs flighting under a blanket.

  4. This may be one day when you don't have big jobs on your hands.

  5. I am a firm believer that if you always look 'turned out', there's nothing to aspire to when dressing up. ;-)

  6. I was once turned away from a restaurant for not being appropriately dressed, at Maxim's in Paris. I was expensively dressed, but the doorman man didn't want to let me out of the taxi - snobs - I spent my money elsewhere.

  7. For God's sake, don't whip out your broken glasses to peruse the menu!

  8. I've every confidence that you'll have passed the mustard with flying colours - and with relish!

Btw: Stockholm? I think you must have meant Stockport, right?

  9. Do we get treated to a photo of you in your posh gear? Oh and by the way - don't go on badger watch wearing it!

  12. If you listen to the wonderful Olympia Dukakis deliver that line , I think you'll find that the two pigs aren't "fighting " Love that film !

  13. I would rather look like two pigs fighting under a blanket than look like those sour faced old bitches who look like bulldogs chewing rancid piss off a nettle..... I despise those who judge others on looks alone

  14. At least they're having fun - the ones being judged, that is. Not sure about the judgy two.

So, pea green pants, or have you gone for something different this time? :)
