A Lady Beldon Day

It's going to be a more civilised day today
Already the weather looks promising
I have cut roses from the garden before breakfast
and the only " booked" job so far
Is a trip to Mrs Trellis' neat little bungalow in order
to change her lightbulbs

  10. I couldn't fetch myself to read the last of your post yesterday - I'm a bit 'scunnery' like that, especially with accompanying pics! Today's post is much more sedate, M'Lord.Thanks. x

  11. Is that the very same 'Mrs Trellis from North Wales' who keeps writing postcards to Radio 4's ISIHAC? (Or am I trifle late on the uptake?)

    2. Well, I'll be blowed! It's an honour to be a mere two degrees of separation from a national celebrity - aside from your own esteemed self, of course.

  13. How kind of you John. I have some light fixtures that are in a very tall place that only a very tall friend can reach (awkward ladder situation) and he kindly changes those for me when I see him annually. Someday i suppose I will need help changing them all and hopefully there will be some kind gent around like you to assist!

Beautiful roses. Mr. Ballard thanks you kindly with that bashful way of his. Luckily you didn't have to rush for the bomb shelter. Oh right...you had that Winnie "bombing" the other day. Was a bit worried for your delicate bits with those paws a flying! :-)
