  8. It looks very quiet. Would this be like a birthday treat doing something you don't usually do as a contrast to other interests?

  9. I can see you made every effort to ensure your handsome professor had a memorable Birthday celebration - the last Birthday Chris will celebrate as a bachelor I might add. You are a very sweet & romantic minded man John Grey, to plan such a lovely day filled with all the things Chris enjoys so much.

  11. Happy Birthday Chris, and congratulations on landing such a top-notch partner. I've always found the notion of a true English-style tea a bit intimidating, but I think I'd quite enjoy it in your company!

  28. Why do you only frequent our neck of the woods when we vacate it?

I was a way all weekend In Berkshire while you were jollying around Bodnant again. It looks like you had a lovely (and very refined time) anyway.

You do both scrub up very well :-)
