Baby Jesus

A couple of comments on last night's blog entry queried just why I would be looking for
The baby Jesus in a patch of nettles
This photo is in way of an explanation
Baby Jesus was hatched on Easter Sunday
he's a feisty little bugger, who is constantly tunnelling his way to freedom
from under his nursery run.
The weather is atrocious today
I'm busy stuffing a marrow at the moment
Listening to classic FM

    2. Are we wondering about the stuffing ingredients or the implement being employed to stuff?

    3. And when he has finished stuffing it, is he really going to feed it to Chris?

    4. "Mmmm...delicious! And what have you been up to today my little cabbage?" said Professor Chris.
Gray blushed - not like cabbage but like a beetroot, "Err, nothing. Just the usual you know!"
"Woof!" said Winifred, emitting a resounding canine fart.

  5. That historical Jesus became a cheeky, rather stroppy lad in his adolescence - or so the gospels seem to say - and this one sounds like he's emulating his namesake. Let's hope that he too doesn't come to a sticky end.

  9. Sometimes you are treated like God, not necessarily here about the marrow stuffing, but other times. In fact people have been quite rude about the marrow stuffing, How do you cope John?

  12. Have to share this with you John - we were out walking in the hills and waterfalls near Braemar today and were approached by a wild red deer (female). It was huge and not in an enclosure and allowed us to stroke it before it nuzzled my pocket. I'm wondering if people have been feeding it but it was pretty weird meeting a wild animal face to face! Brilliant though - you would have loved it.

  13. My stuffed marrow recipe is to cut it into rings and core each ring, then fill it with a mixture of sausage meat, onion and herbs. If you are in a hurry it cooks much more quickly than cooking the marrow whole.

  17. Okay, I know who Baby Jesus is, but I had to look up marrow. In doing so, I found a vegetarian stuffed marrow recipe that I'm actually going to make. Amazing how this blogging stuff expands your horizons.
