Grayson Perry

This made me smile more than anything has over the last 24 hours.
Grayson Perry receiving his CBE from Prince Charles dressed as his alto ego  Claire " a cross between Katie Boyle & Camila" was far more surreal than anything else I have seen recently

I adored the fact that Perry explained his outfit as " Italian mother of the bride"

How so fucking British
I loved it

I had to look him up. Sounds like an interesting man. He looks nice for Charles.

  5. I'm sure it's things like this that make doling out gongs much more fun, and Charles would have loved it.

  13. How will you dress when your long deserved award finally comes through?

  14. I thought he dressed for the occasion. When I heard he was getting a gong I hoped he wouldn't wear too short a dress ( not a good look on ANY older person). I suspect though that we knew he looked like Camilla !

  17. Just brilliant. About time a stuffy ritual had a bit of spark added to it

  18. Dressed up for the occasion, rather then down is quite stylish.

  19. I think he deliberately dressed as Camilla at a funeral, but I daren't say whose. J. Edgar Hoover was fond of dressing-up as well, when he wasn't purging the nation of Commie Faggots.

  21. Love the fact he dressed up for the occasion, and I love Grayson's outfit too!
Have to admit I hate his Shirley Temple outfits, especially when the press describe him as 'wearing women's clothes'. NO HE ISN'T. HE'S DRESSED LIKE A LITTLE GIRL FROM THE 60'S.

  22. Better dressed than some of the guests at the most recent royal wedding.

  23. I would love to know what Charles really thought. I couldn't really see his face properly and I remember how he wasn't pleased with a reporter years ago and forgot he had a mike on.....
