A Kiss Goodnight

A late post....I am just about to go to bed and have been sitting enjoying the glow of the fire before " going up"
Because Chris is away Winifred has had a late pass and has been left in front of the log stove rather than be shown her crated bed in the kitchen. Just now she realised that she was late and slowly got up to amble off for the night.....
Before she went however....she staggered over to my chair and I swear she leant up and gave me the sweetest of goodnight kisses
The gesture almost made me weep, just a little
She is home
And she knows it........

Say, I know you are a Walking Dead fan too. Did you see the first episode of the new season? I was very pleased with it, lots of zombies and not too talky.

Winnie is so thankful she has a loving home with a loving family. Dogs do know you love them.

  20. How sweet. The cats are usually curled up in their spots before i turn in for the night. I always make it a point to kiss them and give them a head rub. They always purr and are happy i do that. It's just a nice way to end the day, sharing a kiss goodnight.

  27. Bulldogs DO have a tendency to offer their faces up to be kissed
Constance and Mabel did the same...
    It's just a breed trait
