Enjoy

Like most things that are YOUTUBE , this clip sort of fell on my lap by accident...I was up at four am with buttock pain, and so went to lie down on the hard sofa with the duvet so that my tossing and turning would not wake Chris and the dogs. Before I eventually fell asleep, I caught this brief video of a group of random commuters on a train........and absolutely fell in love with it.
Nothing is said.......we are totally in the dark of any precipitating factors for the laughter, but the simple infectious nature of silly giggling is, for me a great panacea to all of the bad things we are forced to hear about on a daily basis.
Enjoy

  1. I really enjoyed that clip - thanks. It reminds me of the time I was recovering from knee replacement in Pentwyn hospital. My brother telephoned me from Australia and we spent over 20 minutes laughing loudly. After the call had ended a nurse came into my room and said that I had brightened up all the other patients! In Australia my borther's oldest child exclaimed "Daddy I have never seen you like that before"!! I am expecting another load of laughs - my brother comes to stay for three weeks in July.

Can't hear it now as as the last episode of Last Tango in Halifax is on, but I can imagine. We have walked past a laughing club in the park, scowling dismissively as we approached, but we could not help at least grinning widely by the time we were past the group.

  5. I couldn't watch it all the way through - there is something creepy about hysterical laughing, like a sort of madness, and there was no escape on the train.

  6. Brilliant - i loved it. Laughter is a bit of yawning in that respect... pretty infectious.

  7. There is some saying along the lines of laugh and your joys will multiply. This video is proof of that.

How soon will you get fully fine with the s-thing (sorry I forget it every time)?

  8. marvellous - still chuckling. I'm a lurker not a blogger but this has outed me John. Have you seen the bad lip reading version of the walking dead on you tube? You'll never see the walking dead in the same light again...

  14. I had tears streaming by the time the clip finished that was so infectious. It did get a little hysterical towards the end. Thanks. Not laughed so much in since one Christmas when the other half did a ventriloquist act

  15. Bless em! I'd love to know what they were laughing at - unless they had just decided to start a laughter chain! There's a Newton Faulkner song called People Should Smile More.... and so they should :)

  18. This was great - laughter, like a smile or a yawn, is very infectious! I found myself silently chuckling - with a big smile on my face and my belly jiggling! I'm glad it helped you - I'm so sorry you still have that damn pain. Get better, John. Maybe ask the dogs to walk up and down on your back?

  23. What a way to pass the moments on a train...with a good giggle. The ones who sat stoically stone-faced were silly not to join in.
