  3. The older I get the more I love the technology that makes old movies digital. And the geeks who do it for me.

How cute was that?! I may need to watch it again later with Gin. (Reminded me a little of the Birds of a Feather intro... *sigh* I miss those old shows.)

  14. 30 years ago, we went on holiday in one of those VW vans with our month old baby. Halfway down the M1, it broke down and we camped out on the hard shoulder while waiting for the AA. Along came a reporter and a photographer from the Daily Express who just happened to be doing a feature on whether folk should wait on the hard shoulder for help when they break down or move along to the nearest grassy knoll, so the next day we were splashed all over the middle pages of the Daily Express and the whole of the country knew we had broken down!I therefore didn't snivel, I was more induced to cringing at the memory!

  16. Lovely.

Oh, and it's Friday here already. So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN!

I am having some cards printed - reproductions of one of my paintings. You mentioned it's hard getting good cards where you are. If you'd like a pack of 5 (different ones) email me your address. :-) My gift to you.
